This piece celebrates women who take charge of their sexuality and explore their desires through the act of self-pleasure. To pleasure our “flower” is to break the traditional societal norms that shame or dismiss female sexuality. We choose instead to empower and liberate ourselves through the discovery of a deeper truth; the truth that we are sexual beings and there is nothing to be ashamed of in expressing ourselves. This piece aims to inspire a more open conversation and acceptance towards female sexuality and encourages women to feel comfortable and confident in their desires.
